KÉSZ has been present in Ukrainian market for 6 years.
The first foreign subsidiary was established in 2002 called KÉSZ Ukraine, seated in Zaporozsje. The company was qualified to operate all over the country in design, construction and commercial activities. Later the company-seat was moved closer to Hungarian border in Kalus.
On the Ukrainian market KÉSZ was among the first foreign companies to buy factory real estate including the ownership of the land surrounded. In May 2002, company called KALUS HORS producing prefabricated concrete elements was acquired from a trustee with its production units (24.000 m²) and land (13.6 ha). In cooperation with two other Hungarian companies KÉSZ established a company called 3Beton Ltd. in order to operate prefabricated concrete elements production together.
In February 2005 the latest member of KÉSZ Group, called KÉSZ UA Kiev was founded. Main activities of this company is to achieve and coordinate construction projects concentrating on the area around the capital and in East-Ukraine, as these are the main target-regions for investments. This year the aim is to start construction of 2-3 buildings that can be a good base for future projects as references. Presence of KÉSZ Group in Ukraine is coordinated by the office in Kiev.
KÉSZ Ukraine (Kalus) works in strong cooperation with the newly founded company. Besides its construction activity it also deals with trustee task and market-research of West-Ukraine. It also has a stake in a hotel-business enterprise, called Hotel Origo in Alusta, Crimea. The building was reconstructed last year. The hotel opens it gates this touristy-season in the Black-See resort.
Due to growing number of new greenfield- and industrial investments, increase of new orders is forecasted for the plant producing prefabricated concrete elements ran by 3 Beton Ltd. in Kalus
Summarizing in Ukraine KÉSZ Group is present with 3 companies and approximately 180 employees (from which 10 people are Hungarian). Two of the companies are involved in construction industry (Kiev and Crimea) while the third one runs a production unit of prefabricated concrete elements.

• KÉSZ was awarded with construction of KIEV AIRPORT passenger terminal (project value 90 million EUR). Due to political reasons this project is currently being suspended. Complex team of Hungarian and local experts was organised for realization.
• In cooperation with local quality subcontractors we look forward to build the investment of Jabil Circuit Inc. in Ruthenian region.
