In culture productions of high standard, performances of special value have been supported.
The Presidance Company was founded in May of 2008 by Annamária Borics, Bertalan Vári, and László Ádám Varga. The founder’s concept was to create an exquisite 21st century dance performance by using and preserving the unique Hungarian cultural heritage with quality and speciality that will enchant people of all age-groups. The aim is to create, and spread on national forums, a new positive Hungarian cultural image.
Catherine Gallagher, the founder of Steps of the Celts Irish Dance Company is proud to bring to stage an electrifying performance of world class dancing. The Irish Dance Experience is a new theatrical extravaganza of irish dance accompanied by beautiful music that will enhance and delight you.
Our company organises the camp every year, ensuring the relevant financial support as well as the accommodation and meals for the actors and the steel, tools necessary to create the sculptures. Website: www.acelszobraszat.hu.
Every year we exhibit the best artworks, in 2006 for instance in the ruin garden, in the central square of Kecskemét; in 2007 in the Dóm Square in Szeged, during the Szabadtéri Játékok (Open-air Plays in Szeged). The welded steel sculpture titled Sign by Pál Lakatos decorates the park in front of our office building in Kecskemét just like the sculptures System of Reference by József Tóth, Bench-Pair by Tamás Gaál and Souvenir by Tibor Zielinski.
Our corporation is supporting Szegedi Szabadtéri Játékok és Fesztivál Szervező Kft. (the organiser company of the Open-air Plays in Szeged) as main sponsor, which operates the renovated REÖK-Palace as well. One of the most beautiful secession-style buildings in Europe re-opened its gates on 17 August 2007. The palace of nearly 1200 square meters was built in 1907 initiated by István Reök hydraulic engineer, Member of the Parliament. The plans were accomplished by the architect Ede Magyar referred to as the Hungarian Gaudi. The family palace standing for a hundred years in the heart of Szeged, in Tisza Lajos Boulevard represents an outstandingly high and special value even in European aspect. Following its renovation one can admire its original beauty – now not only from outside but also from inside as well. This building receives the Regional Artistic Center arranging different exhibitions and organising several musical, theatre and literature evenings. Our company supports the operation of the cultural center as main sponsor.
As for cultural events, the internationally famous Szegedi Kortárs Balett (Modern Szeged Ballet) must be mentioned as an outstanding sponsored program. The ballet company is popular in Hungary and abroad, they have staged performances recognised among professionals and spectators as well. In Szeged within Szabadtéri Játékok their large-scale performance New World has been presented several times.
Our company was one of the investors of the film titled Világszám (World-famous Performance) by Róbert Koltai. The work of art telling the tale of the clown pair met success at international film festivals, both in Europe and in the USA. We supported Koltai’s new film titled Megy a gőzös (Steam Engine Running), which was produced with the participation of many famous Hungarian actors.
Irén Lovász is bringing out a Hungarian world music disc series, whose first two pieces, Celestial Sound and Internal Sound have become a golden LP. The LP series is partly promoted by our company.
Our company is strictly bound to the cultural life of Kecskemét City. The Bozsó Collection presents the finest artworks of the respected painter of the Great Plain and the art exhibition of folk art exhibition. We have been supporting the Bozsó Foundation for some years; we helped to arrange exhibitions and salons in the collection.
As a sponsor we contributed to the success of the 7th Animation Film Festival of Kecskemét in 2005, and we supported to organise the festival in 2007.
Klári Katona singer, well known for her beautiful songs and hits, recently presented herself as a writer. Her specially edited book titled Final words contains deep thoughts and writings about the values of life, emotions generated by lyrics, great creators. Klári Katona has already written lyrics before, and in her latest records she involved literature as well. After the preliminaries the separate book includes a CD with musical dub: this plays the most beautiful writings from the CD presented by the actress herself.
With the support of our company a book titled 13+1 Kárpáti György, Son of Fortune by András Kő. His sports mates and friends talk about György Kárpáti’s career, evoke the most memorable moments and stories of his life.
