Education, vocational training
As far as education is concerned, we keep on running our skilled labour programme having been successful for several years in order to maintain the appropriate professional labour supply. Aiming at ensuring a high level in education and vocational training, we co-operate with several technical schools operating in the City of Kecskemét; as a result of this the students from Gáspár András and Kandó Kálmán Secondary Technical Schools can come to our company for field-work practice.
The students from the above-mentioned schools can learn the practical side of architectural locksmith and welder professions with us for two years and can also prepare for their final practical examination. Following their successful exam, we automatically ensure employment for the students in our steel construction plant; they are employed as an architectural locksmith or welder. Every year, a class includes 30 students in average. Our new, modernised workshop ensures the conditions of high-standard education and practical training. The students can learn the basis of their future profession with the supervision of our well-skilled colleagues.
Via our fruitful relations established with the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, the College of Kecskemét and other educational centers we have the opportunity to support the high level education of the forthcoming generation of engineers as well as co-operation, the implementation of research and software development projects.
In joint actions with the South Plain Regional Labour Office and the Regional Training Center in Kecskemét our company is launching a construction locksmith training for unemployed people in 2008. The project is providing an opportunity for 20 unemployed people searching for a job to participate in a training relevant to labour market demands. In case of successful final examination, the training goes with an immediate employment opportunity at KÉSZ. During the training we provide the practical training workshop, the technical supervision and the tools as well as the organisation, advertisement of the training, also an employment opportunity within a month at KÉSZ after a successful final examination.
We support high level education by donating money for Budpest College of Communication and Business, and USUS OPTIMUS Vocational Training Organization Company.
Construction of playgrounds
Due to a HUF 10 million donation of our company, in the autumn of 2007 an intimate and nice playground was built in the City of Kecskemét. According to the agreement concluded with the municipality, KÉSZ – joining the playground reconstruction program of the city – equipped the playground in Széchenyi Mall with safety and modern toys. In choosing the venue it was a crucial point that the new playground was set up in the most heavily populated district of Kecskemét, and ensures a perfect recreation opportunity for the families with children living around. The toys installed were chosen the way that children of different age could find the best ones fitting them.
Healthcare
Due to the well-known complicated situation in healthcare we have supported charity actions for several years. The emphasis has been laid on cancer research and curing as well as on child-healthcare programs. We launched a charity action for the support of the child clinic in Szeged City to improve medical equipment, which was also joined by numerous local enterprises.
