Builders' Day: László Tornai, Vedres Prize holder

Three colleagues were awarded the Vedres Prize for their outstanding professional career at the 10th International Construction Conference in Szeged, held on the Builders' Day.

The awardees were Mr. György Slyuch (in the middle), former construction project manager of the Hódút building & construction firm in Hódmezővásárhely, Hungary, currently the owner of Útterv '83, an architectural office. Mr. Máté Takács (on the right), former chief municipal architect of Szeged, currently providing urban design services in his own firm, T.T.T. The third awardee was Mr. László Tornai (on the left), the former Chief Designer of KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő, currently running his own designer office. The awardees were congratulated by the representatives of the founders: Mr. Pál Nemesi, President of the Csongrád County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dezső Bodor, President of the Csongrád County Chamber of Engineers, Mr. Péter Schulcz, President of the Csongrád County Chamber of Architects and Mr. Lajos Kiss, President of the Csongrád Country Urban Design Association.
