Imre Kantó was awarded with Lechner Ödön prize

November 28, 2017

This year our colleague Imre Kantó was awarded with one of the most prestigious recognitions in the building industry, which is given  every year by the National Association of Building Contractors . The prize was awarded according to tradition, at the solemn annual meeting of ÉVOSZ.

Since 2002, Imre is strengthening the KÉSZ team as a facility manager. In the recent years he has been involved in strategic projects, such as the Mercedes paintshop and the SMP bumper factory in Kecskemét, or the establishment of the TVK butadiene plant in Tiszaújváros. With his work, he has always been an example of his professional knowledge and problem-solving thinking for younger colleagues and professionals. We wish him much more success and good health for his work!

The Lechner Ödön prize along with a gold medal and a diploma is awarded since 1994 mainly for the building execution contractors, and other professionals working in any field of construction, who have done outstanding work in the past few years within the member organizations of ÉVOSZ.

The annual closing ceremony was opened by Mr. László Koji, President of ÉVOSZ,
and it was followed by Mr. Rigó Csaba Balázs, President of the Public Procurement Authority and Dr. Makai Martina, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of National Development, who made a speech.

In addition to the Lechner Ödön Prize, the General Assembly also awarded the Construction Excellence Awards and the Sándy Gyula Prize. Congratulations to all the awarded professionals!
