KÉSZ Group did offer a total of more than 300 kg of durable food, tangible donations and an IT tools worth of 700.000 HUF for the disadvantaged children.
The main objective of SOS Children's Villages is to provide safe and loving homes for foster parents’ families, who cannot live with their biological parents. Not just housing, but love and perhaps a more beautiful future is given for those 400 children, who had to be removed from their families due to neglect, abuse, parents' death or addiction.
As a result of this action, the KÉSZ Group has collected durable foods, tangible donations, toys and household objects, which were distributed by the named organization among the villages near Kecskemét, Orosháza and Kőszeg. The IT tools will be located in their Youth Houses, where those young people are living, who are about to stand on their own feet, and start their own life. The gifts were donated symbolically by the founder of the group, Mihály Varga at the Christmas event of KÉSZ. The Fundraising and Communication Director of the Children's Villages, Ágnes Romet-Balla said, although SOS cannot replace the lack of biological parents, they will do their utmost to ensure that children receive the emotional and existential security of foster parents, what they need to overcome the difficulties, and become a balanced, healthy adults. Thanks to the support of the KÉSZ, the SOS Children's Villages have come a little closer to this goal.
