HUNGERIT Baromfifeldolgozó és Élelmiszeripari Rt., the legal predecessor of HUNGERIT Baromfifeldolgozó és Élelmiszeripari Zrt. seated in Szentes, was founded on July 1, 1997 from three local limited liability companies that had been closely cooperating with each other. Reorganization was justified by the possibility of raising capital and achieving greater organizational efficiency. The company profile is concentrated on three main areas: primarily processed slaughtered poultry and poultry carcasses, further processed products and highly processed end products fried ready for consumption.

Issue
The declared intention of Hungerit Zrt.'s management was to optimize the existing non-uniform controlling planning procedures with a special application designed for supporting a more modern controlling activity. In line with this, the aim of the new system planned is to process information in a more reliable, quicker, consolidated and automated manner, thus enabling employees to spend more time concentrating on data analysis and business administration. A further aim is to create a process of operative planning beyond the current annual planning, and assert it in the system to be developed.

Solution
A possible comprehensive realization of the planning and controlling system of poultry preparation, with the help of the Cognos Express system. The system developed by IBCnet Magyarország Kft. obtains data from the user's source systems, and at the same time new hardware and software elements are installed to create a modern financial planning and controlling system. The aim of the new system planned was to process information in a more reliable, quicker, consolidated and automated manner, thus enabling employees to spend more time concentrating on data analysis and business administration.
