Hats off to our talents
An unusual communication campaign for the London Olympic Games. MOL surprised the sportspeople who were able to take part in the London Olympic Games with a novel phenomenon, by organizing a flashmob with the participation of 200 people. The flashmob - which formed the basis of the communication and has been one of the highest-rated flashmobs in Hungary ever since then - was organized by our company, and we also made a YouTube video of it. On August 16, the Hungarian Kayak Canoe Association was holding a press conference at Aquaworld, Budapest, and while photographs were being taken, a crowd of about two hundred people wearing uniform hats surprised the sportspeople. At the end of the choreography danced to music, all dancers took off their hats decorated with the British flag to the canoeists, and symbolically to all Hungarian participants of the Olympic Games. When the two-minute dance flashmob ended, the audience could see on a giant screen how people, young and old, at different points of the world saluted by taking their hats off to the sportspeople travelling to London. Since then the video recording has become one of the most viewed flashmobs in the country, with nearly 100 000 views.
