We have inaugurated the new hangar for the C-17s in Pápa

November 17th was a prominent day for not only Our Group but for the Hungarian Air Force as well: that was the day when we inaugurated the new hangar for the C-17s on behalf of NATO in Pápa. During the inauguration ceremony of the 9200 m2 hangar, László Szalados, the Chief Executive Officer of KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt. said: “There were days during construction when 600 professionals worked on the new facility.”
We are talking about big numbers, and not only regarding the floor area... "NATO approved the 9.5 billion HUF investment in 2012 in order for the Pápa Air Base to provide modern background for the safe operation of the C-17s" - said Colonel Trevor Nitz, the Commander of Heavy Airlift Wing in Pápa.
